Connecting an OCULUS perimeter (Twinfield / Centerfield / Easyfield / Smartfield)

Data connection

The OCULUS perimeter are controlled by a program on the PC and export the data into a FILE. The export directory is fixed to C:\PeridataExchange (not configurable). The data connection for the data transfer OCULUS >> PeriData requires 3 jobs:

1. Physical connection: Installation of PeriData on the same PC where the program OCULUS is installed

2. Configuration of the EXPORT interface of the program OCULUS

3. Configuration of the IMPORT interface of PeriData

Send examination data

After establishing the data connection, OCULUS is ready to send examination data with a click of the mouse. The data will immediately show up in the PeriData database.

Send patient data to the perimeter

PeriData is able to send data into the opposite direction (PeriData >> OCULUS). These are steps 4 + 5. More information is given here: Send patient data to OCULUS
