Sending Examination Data: from the Humphrey Field Analyzer 3 (Type 8xx) to PeriData

There are 2 methods to send data:

1. Send immediately after the exam

2. Send stored (old) examination data

Problem solutions

There is a message: "DICOM DATA IMPORT: Wrong data format...

When sending stored data, a wrong way was taken at the HFA 3 ("Test" button is wrong). This is the right way: Choose patient, then press "Reports" button

No data arrive in PeriData

1. Check the defined import directory (see menu Options > tab Perimeter) with the File Explorer. If you do not find any file with the extension .DCM, then the HFA3 program did send to the wrong directory or did not send at all. Frequent error: When sending, a subdirectory was chosen. The DCM files are in that folder.
2. If .dcm files are existing (and not yet imported to PeriData and deleted afterwards), then open the Menu Extra > Options > Tab Perimeter and check all import settings

Important: Data Safety

The data are always stored on the hard disk drive of the perimeter. An additional storage on an USB stick is recommended.
